Politics runs EVERYTHING in education: Class sizes, the minimum salary for teachers, the number of days in an academic year, the finances provided to schools, the mandates for teachers. 

Even if you do not like politics, they impact you as a teacher and as a student. 

The Political Action Committee for Education (PACE)  pushes for legislative action for the betterment of teachers and public education across Pennsylvania. This year, PACE helped to get a law passed that will give education majors up to $10,000 while student teaching. Please help support PACE by buying raffle tickets during TLI.
