Even if you do not like politics, you will quickly find that so much of teaching is controlled by politicians. How many students you have in your classroom, your benefits (including sick leave and personal days), and what the curriculum looks like are all controlled by politicians. PACE is a group that lobbies for teachers' rights.

In 2020, PACE made sure that student teachers with less than 60 days of student teaching (due to covid) could still graduate with their certification. Currently, PACE is focused on a $45K starting salary across Pennsylvania. PACE fights for you as preservice and practicing teachers.
Student PSEA needs to support PACE. All monies from the basket will be donated to PACE.
